ABOUT

With a background in fine art, industrial design and STEAM education, Lauren is passionate about creating hands-on learning environments that spark conversations and creativity. Outside of work, she loves throwing pottery and baking sourdough bread- both extensions of her love for process, experimentation, and craft!
She graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with a Master of Science in Industrial Design, where she focused on the impact of products and how thoughtful design can enhance everyday life. She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and Architecture, where she majored in Metals/Jewelry/CAD-CAM, and minored in Art History. It was during this time that Lauren was first introduced to the world of 3D modeling and printing. Since then, she has continued to expand her skill set by exploring multiple facets of design.
Lauren often says “designers change lives,” and strives to continue inspiring others to think like a designer- curious, empathetic, and bold!
